Cleobury Community Car Scheme We are not a taxi service so requests for lifts must be made well in advance to enable us to source volunteers.

We are a group of volunteers supported by Shropshire Council to take those who would normally struggle with transport in the local area to their hospital, doctor, dentists and other medical type appointments. Our busy scheme (mainly weekdays) is run and staffed entirely by volunteers who kindly meet many varied requirements to facilitate passengers to access their medical appointments. We can take

people to the medical center in Cleobury for all services and to any hospital you are referred to in the local area for variety of needs appointments, short operations, hospice care and to visit family members where other transport arrangements cannot be made. Charges are according to a fixed South Shropshire Council tariff and must be paid to the driver in full on the day of the drive, a receipt can be issued where the cost can be reclaimed. We are regularly looking for new drivers to volunteer on any level to assist our team and out community. If you are interested or need assistance please contact us to discuss.
