What a night last night! Our NEDCare Charity Auction Fundraiser at the White Hart Dartmoor was a phenomenal success, raising an incredible estimated £4,600 to support NEDCare’s work in our local community! 🥂✨

A HUGE THANK YOU to our & everyone who bought tickets, braved the storm to join us & threw themselves into the philanthropic spirit of the evening, bidding generously & pushing those lot values ever higher! 👏💚

Our heartfelt thanks also go to our wonderfully generous lot donors for their fantastic offerings & to Mike Hilditch, our masterful auctioneer, who worked the room brilliantly to coax out those extra bids & help us achieve such a fabulous total! 🔨🙌

A special thank you, too, to the White Hart team for accommodating us so warmly, beautifully decorating the room & ensuring the buffet & evening ran smoothly. You helped make it a truly special occasion!

A little handmade kindness goes a long way! 🧶🌈

We're inviting our to look at these gorgeous fidget sleeves! A huge thank you to the very lovely local lady who lovingly crafted & donated these colourful creations for the people we support who are living with dementia. 🥰

Dementia is much more than memory loss. It can affect how people communicate, understand the world around them & manage everyday life, sometimes causing anxiety, confusion or restlessness.

That's where these beautiful sleeves can help. Their different textures, buttons & ribbons give restless hands something to explore, offering sensory stimulation, comfort & a calming, mindful activity for their wearer.

At NEDCare, our carers look beyond the diagnosis to the person. Through patience, compassion & getting to know each individual, they find little ways to bring reassurance, preserve dignity & brighten someone's day. Sometimes, it's the smallest things that make a big difference. 💚

Thank you to our wonderful local maker for helping us bring a little extra comfort & joy to the people we support. 🌈
