Without further ado, here’s Part 2 of our Meet the Team series! 🌟

As our Shack family continues to grow, we're excited to introduce more of the wonderful people who help make everything we do possible.

We also wanted to share some of our favourite staff snapshots, capturing the team in action doing what they love most — helping create amazing days and unforgettable memories for our superstars. 💛

Quite simply, there wouldn’t be a Shack without our incredible staff. Their passion, energy, and dedication are at the heart of everything we do.

We're kicking off the first part of our Meet the Team series!

With some new faces (and families!) joining the Shack, we thought it was the perfect time to introduce the people behind what we do. Over the coming weeks, you'll get to know our wonderful team, discover what brought us here, what we love about our roles, and a few fun facts along the way.

We feel incredibly lucky to do what we do, and we can't wait to share a little more about the people who make the Shack such a special place.

🌟We’re Growing! - Join our Amazing Team! 🌟

As our service continues to expand, we’re supporting more children and young people with disabilities than ever before, and we’re looking for two passionate individuals to join our friendly, inclusive team!

We currently have:

✨ 1 part-time position working across weekdays and weekends

✨ 1 part-time weekend-only/school holidays position

✨ We are also looking for volunteers too!

These roles could be ideal for students, those looking for additional hours alongside another job or anyone passionate about making a real difference in the lives of our amazing service users!

We’re proud to be a fun, supportive and highly social team that values inclusion, creativity and person-centred support in everything that we do.

If you’re enthusiastic, reliable and enjoy helping children and young people thrive, we’d love to hear from you!

☀️ Wow, we can’t believe it’s the last day of half term already!

Enjoy a little snippet of some of what we’ve been getting up to this week!

We’ve been making the most of the sunshine with a trip to the park before heading back for plenty of ice lollies and cold drinks to cool down 🍦🧃🌳

Back at the Shack, we’ve been enjoying all things bubbles, messy play, music and, of course, our firm favourites — the swings! 💕

Lots of smiles, laughter and happy memories made this week! 💛

Last day to book until I return on Saturday 23rd ✨

Where sessions are marked as a ‘quieter session’, these are best suited for children who may be especially noise sensitive and would benefit from a calmer, quieter environment.

Wednesday 27th
• 9:00am–12:00pm — x2 slots remaining
• 12:30pm–2:30pm — x3 slots remaining
• 5:30pm–7:30pm — x3 slots remaining (quieter session)

Friday 29th
• 9:00am–12:00pm — x2 slots remaining
• 12:30pm–2:30pm — x1 slot remaining (quieter session)
