The area that we call "Ravensbury Village" in Mitcham, Surrey, is being threatened with demolition. 98% of residents are against demolition. It's a beautiful area that has a close community and is safe for children. Circle Housing recently took over from Merton Council and have decided that it is an ideal area to be sold off and are threatening ex council house residents with the demolition of the

ir homes. They are running a travesty of a consultation whereby the residents get very little input into what Circle describes as regeneration. Very little has been said about how many residents are against the demolition, despite our survey that has established 98% are against it.
