Trooping of the colour breakfast and celebrations, held on Saturday the 13th June.
Members enjoyed a cooked breakfast, followed by the televised trooping of the colour parade, port for toasting the king, quiz and music from charlie williamson.

Trooping the Colour 2026 Honouring His Majesty The King

Today we mark Trooping the Colour, the official celebration of His Majesty King Charles III’s birthday — a proud tradition that brings together centuries of military ceremony, precision, and pageantry in the heart of London.

As the Household Division and supporting regiments parade through Horse Guards Parade and down The Mall, we are reminded of the deep ties between the Armed Forces and the Crown — and the discipline, dedication, and service that underpin them.

For many in the military community, this day is more than ceremony. It is a moment to reflect on service, comradeship, and the traditions that connect today’s soldiers with generations before them.

From the marching bands to the Guards in their scarlet tunics and bearskins, Trooping the Colour stands as one of the most iconic displays of British military heritage.

From all of us at Legion Scotland, we extend our respect and best wishes on this special occasion.

Earlier in May, the ladies section made a very generous donation to the branch.
They donated £10,000 to have the upstairs hall seating refurbished, this work will take place over the Summer.

The legion is an official venue for the Mofest in May and we have some great bands playing on Friday the 29th May and Saturday the 30th May.
