Hi, I’ve just read about Nik, who faced Motor Neurone Disease with remarkable determination and even donated spinal fluid and other samples to help research. In April, someone is running the London Marathon in his memory to support the charity that cared for Nik and has continued helping his wife and children after his passing. It’s a meaningful way to honour Nik and help that support remain available to other families facing MND. If you can, please donate or share the GoFundMe page with someone who might want to support it, and thank you for helping keep Nik’s commitment to others moving forward ❤️

The Pilgrim Rowing Project combines proud British rowing tradition with the values you know from service: discipline, teamwork, resilience and quiet professionalism. Our low-impact training supports your physical, mental and social wellbeing, and gives you a crew to belong to on and off the water.

Royal Engineers Association x Pilgrim Bandits 🪂

One of our amazing volunteers, Sarah Adams ( ), has taken to the skies at , raising a fantastic amount for both The Sapper Charity and Pilgrim Bandits through a sponsored skydive.

Sarah jumped to support Pilgrim Bandits’ work with wounded, injured and sick members of the UK Armed Forces, both serving and retired. 💙

Simon from the PB team () went along to cheer her on and, in true Bandits style, ended up jumping (or should we say falling?) out of the plane himself! He hadn’t planned to jump that day, but called it “completely exhilarating” and would recommend it to anyone. As Simon says, at Pilgrim Bandits the idea is that we always go a little bit further.

A huge thank you to the brilliant team at for looking after everyone, and a massive shout out to for organising such a great opportunity to raise much-needed funds.

In 2025, Pilgrim Bandits took a mixed team of beneficiaries and supporters to Belize to test themselves in the jungle and under the ocean.

🛶 The first part of the expedition took the team deep into the Belizean jungle, exploring the rivers by kayak and camping on the shoreline each night.

🤿 The second part took them beneath the waves. Diving in such a unique environment was an amazing experience for the whole team.

💪 Pilgrim Bandits supports wounded, injured and sick members of our Armed Forces and Emergency Services, encouraging them to test their limits and find strength in adventure.
