*prostate cancer Charity poker Tournament last Sunday at Midhurst Club
* We had 21 players sit down for the charity tournament, all buying in for £10.

Rebuys were slow to start with, but there was a flurry of rebuys towards the end of the rebuy period. A total of 25 rebuys & add ons altogether. During the short break we condensed down to three tables. It wasn’t long before players started failing by the wayside. Within an hour we were down to two tables.

When were down to the final eight Harvey was chip leader. There were a couple of short stacks, but the rest were fairly even. Once there was space at the final table, I sat down to deal to keep the game moving.

Once Tracey had totaled the cash collected, I sorted out the prizes for 1st £140, 2nd £80 and 3rd £50. We also received donations on the day, totaling £70, so the final sum to be donated to Prostate Cancer UK will be £330.

Thank you all for your wonderful support and congratulations to our final three.

3rd Lou Charlton

2nd Harvey Cowell

1st Keith Pullen

Keith was presented with a trophy to keep and a shield that will be updated annually.
