Tees Valley Womens Centre Based in South Bank Middlesbrough Tees Valley Women’s Centre is a warm and safe space for women who reside in the Tees Valley area of the Northeast of England.

The organisation was set up by local women for women and are proud that we support a range of women from a variety of backgrounds and cultures. We pride ourselves on offering help and support to women regardless of their lifestyle or background, offering assistance and support on a variety of issues, as well as providing learning opportunities. We aim to increase opportunities for women in order to improve their quality of life.

🍂🎃 Celebrate Autumn with a Special Pumpkin Painting Workshop! 🎨🍁

Autumn is here, and we're doing something a little different at Jess's Monday Craft Club at Tees Valley Womens Centre!

Join our wonderful tutor Jess for a special morning of creativity, where we'll be transforming ordinary pumpkins into beautiful autumn decorations to brighten up your home.

Forget pumpkin carving! 🎃 This workshop is all about painting, decoupage and getting creative. From pretty floral designs and autumn colours to something completely unique, you can decorate your pumpkin however you like!

Whether you're a regular at Jess's Craft Club or fancy coming along for the first time, everyone is welcome. No experience needed – just come along, enjoy a cuppa, meet other women and have some fun getting creative!

🍁 Monday 26th October
⏰ 9.30am – 11.30am
💷 £7.50 per person – includes your pumpkin, all materials and a cup of tea or coffee.

Your finished creation can be enjoyed as a lovely decoration throughout the autumn season.

Do you have a passion for helping young children learn, grow and thrive? Are you looking for a rewarding role where no two days are the same?

Due to the continued expansion of our nursery, we are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and reliable Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly and dedicated team at Tees Valley Tots Nursery. 💜💚

We are a small but busy nursery providing high-quality care and education for children from birth to five years. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting children's development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

👶 The role will include:

✨ Supporting children's individual care, learning and development
✨ Planning engaging activities based on children's interests
✨ Working with key children and their families
✨ Supporting feeding, personal care and daily routines
✨ Creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment
✨ Working as part of a supportive and dedicated team

💚 Essential requirements:

✔️ Relevant Level 3 Childcare qualification (such as Early Years Educator/EYE)
✔️ Recent experience working within the EYFS preferred
✔️ Paediatric First Aid certificate, or willingness to undertake training
✔️ DBS check (to be completed upon appointment)
✔️ Flexible, reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team

We're looking for someone who is warm, caring and approachable, enjoys getting involved in children's play and activities, and is passionate about giving children the very best start in life.

📅 Monday to Friday
⏰ Working flexibly between 8:00am and 5:30pm

Our Christmas Craft Sessions are coming up in November, and we'd love you to join us!

Spend a lovely morning with our wonderful tutor Jess, getting creative, trying different crafts and making your own Christmas decorations and cards to take home.

For just £25, you'll make:
🎄 Two painted ceramic baubles
⭐ A willow Christmas decoration
🎨 A set of watercolour Christmas cards

Join our wonderful tutor Jess for a fun and festive Christmas Craft Session – three hours of creativity in a relaxed and friendly setting.

For £25, you’ll make and take home:
