🎃 SOME MASKS DON’T COME OFF AFTER HALLOWEEN.

The smile at the meet. The jokes in the group chat. The “yeah, I’m sound” when life feels anything but.

You never really know what someone’s carrying behind the version of themselves they let you see.

At MHCBC, you don’t have to turn up full of energy or pretend you’ve got everything together. Come as you are. A rough day doesn’t make you any less welcome. 🧡

Check on your mates, make room for an honest answer and listen without judging. If someone’s gone quiet, let them know there’s still a place for them — without putting pressure on them to explain.

And if you need a breather yourself, take one. You don’t owe anyone a brave face.

This Halloween, make room for the person behind the mask.

❤️ YOUR TWO HANDS COULD SAVE SOMEONE’S WHOLE WORLD.

Today is Restart a Heart Day. Someone who needs help could be your mate at a meet, a family member at home or a stranger you’ve never spoken to.

At MHCBC, looking out for each other goes beyond the conversations we have. It also means taking the time to learn what to do when someone needs us most.

You don’t need to be a medical professional to learn CPR or use a defibrillator. Taking that first step could make a life-saving difference.

Please read this poster, share it with your mates and make time to learn CPR. Encourage someone else to learn alongside you. ❤️

We’re not just a club. We’re family — and family looks out for each other.

WHEN DID YOU LAST CHECK YOUR TYRES?

We all love seeing your cars and bikes at our meets, but what matters most is seeing you get home safely. 💚

October is Tyre Safety Month, so take a few minutes to check your tyre pressure, tread and condition. Use the guide above, and if something doesn’t look right, get it checked by a professional. Don’t leave it until your MOT.

We put time into cleaning, modifying and enjoying our vehicles — give the tyres some attention too. They’ve got a pretty important job!

Looking out for our community means looking out for each other on the road as well. Share this with a mate who could do with a reminder. 🤝

Your next journey matters. So does everyone travelling with you.

🧡 ADHD AWARENESS MONTH 🧡

You don’t have to fully understand someone’s experience to treat them with patience and respect.

Before calling someone lazy, rude or careless, take a moment to consider what you might not see. They could be putting a huge amount of effort into something you find straightforward.

Let’s make it easier for people to say, “I’m struggling with this,” without feeling embarrassed or judged. Ask what would help, listen to their answer and take it seriously.

To anyone with ADHD who’s spent years feeling misunderstood: you deserve to be heard, supported and valued for who you are. 🧡

A little more understanding can start with any of us.

Share this to help us keep that conversation going.

💜 HOME SHOULD BE SOMEWHERE YOU FEEL SAFE.

But for some, it’s where they feel most afraid. Behind the smiles, everyday conversations and “I’m fine” can be things nobody else sees.

To anyone experiencing domestic abuse, or living with the effects of what they’ve been through: you did not deserve it. Being made to feel frightened, controlled or worthless is never your fault.

Men and women can both experience abuse. Everyone deserves to be listened to, believed and supported.

We know this can be a difficult post to read. You don’t need to explain yourself, share your experience or prove your pain to anyone. It’s okay to scroll past and look after yourself.

At MHCBC, we care about the person behind the wheel and beneath the helmet. Some people in our community will carry experiences we know nothing about. Let’s give each other kindness, patience and space, without assumptions or judgement.

Support is there whether you’re ready to talk, unsure what to do, or still trying to understand what happened. The specialist services on this poster are a place to turn when it’s safe for you.

You matter. Your safety matters. Your future matters. 💜

NOT SHOWING EMOTION DOESN’T MEAN NOT FEELING IT. 💚

Some men have learnt to keep everything inside. To be the strong one, carry on and say “I’m fine” because explaining what’s really going on feels harder than staying quiet.

For some, it’s fear of being judged. For others, opening up before has led to being laughed at, dismissed or having their feelings used against them.

Before you call someone cold, heartless or emotionless, remember that you’re only seeing what they feel able to show you.

No tears doesn’t mean no pain.
A smile doesn’t mean everything is okay.
Needing space doesn’t mean they don’t care.

You don’t have to understand every feeling someone has to treat them with kindness. Give them room to talk without demanding it. Listen without turning it into a lecture. And when they do open up, treat that trust with care.

Nobody should have to break down in front of you for their feelings to count.

JUST BECAUSE THEY DON’T SHOW IT, DOESN’T MEAN THEY DON’T FEEL IT. 💚

🎀 TO THE WOMEN IN OUR MHCBC COMMUNITY 🎀

This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we want to remind you that your health matters, and you deserve to make time for yourself. 💗

Life gets busy, and it’s easy to put everyone else first. Please make checking your breasts a regular habit. Get to know what’s normal for you, and speak to your GP if you notice a lump, swelling, changes to your skin or ni***es, or pain that doesn’t go away. Don’t wait for your next screening appointment.

Most breast changes aren’t cancer, but getting them checked is important. You’re never wasting anyone’s time by raising a concern.

To anyone facing tests, going through treatment, supporting someone they love or remembering someone they’ve lost—we’re thinking of you. Behind every diagnosis is a person, a family and a whole world of feelings that deserve care and understanding.

We’re not just a club, we’re family—and that means looking out for each other. 💗🚗🏍️

This World Mental Health Day, we’re sending love to anyone finding life a little heavier than usual. 💚

Whether you’re feeling stuck, facing loneliness, taking medication, working on recovery or supporting someone you love — your experience matters, even when nobody else sees it.

You don’t have to put on a brave face to belong here. Come for the cars and bikes, stay for the people, and know there’s space for you on the difficult days too. 🚗🏍️

Check on your mates. Make time to listen. And give yourself the same kindness you offer everyone else.

WE’RE NOT JUST A CLUB, WE’RE FAMILY.
IT AIN’T WEAK TO SPEAK! 💚

💚 WORLD MENTAL HEALTH DAY — 10 OCTOBER 💚

Today is about raising awareness, challenging stigma and making mental health support accessible to everyone.

The figures show why it matters:

🌍 Nearly 1 in 7 people worldwide — around 1.2 billion — were living with a mental disorder in 2023, according to the World Health Organization.

💚 In England and Wales, 6,190 deaths by su***de were registered in 2024. The North East had the highest su***de registration rate of any English region, according to the Office for National Statistics.

Behind every statistic is a person, a family and a community. That’s why mental health deserves our attention, understanding and action.

Nobody should feel ashamed to say they’re struggling. Everyone deserves to be heard, taken seriously and supported in getting the help they need.

At MHCBC, we encourage you to check on your mates, listen without judgement and make room for honest conversations — today and every day. 💚🚗🏍️

If you need someone to talk to, Samaritans are available free, day or night, on 116 123.

Check on your mates.

Even the funny one, the quiet one, and the one who always says, “I’m fine.”

You don’t need the perfect words or all the answers. Sometimes, “You alright, mate?” and taking the time to listen can open a conversation they’ve been struggling to start.

At MHCBC, our shared love of cars and bikes brings us together — looking out for each other is what makes us family.

Use these words. Start that conversation. Keep checking in long after the awareness day has passed. 💚
