Very heavy rain is forecast for Saturday morning so we’ve taken an early decision to just do our Sunday ride to The New Windsor Hotel, Restaurant & Bar: 'The Windsor' this weekend. Bikes and ebike available to use free, message us to book a bike.

Don’t forget the clocks go back on Sunday morning so don’t turn up early 🕰️😂

With the change in time, our trike session on Monday will be under floodlights. It’s always great fun riding the track under lights. Everyone welcome and all free.

CHANGE IN TIME & DATE FOR THE GLOW RIDE - 29th OCTOBER at 6pm

There is a significant risk that there will be strong wind and increasingly heavy rain tomorrow evening around the time of the scheduled Glow Ride.

We have taken the difficult decision to postpone the ride to Thursday 29th October with a slightly earlier start time of 6pm.

2 days to go to our first Valleys . Light up your bikes, wear florescent clothes and join us in the car park behind Rhydycar ready to start at 6:30 on Thursday evening.

Everyone welcome. Under 16s to be accompanied by an adult.

Help us highlight the need for safer streets, better cycle routes after dark, and equality in cycling infrastructure.

On 22nd October we have the first Valleys Glow ride. A fun event with a serious message of the need for better lit cycling routes and for us all to ensure we are visible when riding during the darker nights.

We’ve got 2 bike rides this weekend.

On Saturday we’ll ride to Aberfan Community Centre, a flat route ideal for new or returning riders. On Sunday we’ll ride on the Taff Trail to Brecon Mountain Railway- Tearooms at Pontsticill Reservoir.

Bikes, e-bikes, our new e-trike and helmets available and all free. Contact us for more information or to book a bike.

We’ve teamed up with Merthyr Triathlon Club Page and EC Cycles for Merthyr’s first glow ride next Thursday, 22nd Oct. A great fun event with the serious message on the need for better lighting on our trails and to be visible during the darker nights. Get the family together, light up your bikes and join us for a fun ride. Under 16s to be accompanied but an adult.

This week we have our weekly trike session at Afon Taf High School at 6pm on Monday and on Thursday morning at 10am we’ll do our longest ride to Talybont with a stop at the post office cafe in the village. This is a very challenging ride of around 40 miles so only recommended for experienced riders. Bikes, trikes, ebikes and our e-trike available to use and all free.
