I think its safe to say that along with the chickens Ginny our new forest pony is a firm favourite with the children.
She gets lots of pampering from the children and in turn they learn about horse body language, horse care, lunging and tacking up.

Since we started our home ed days the kids have had visits from the vets who let them all listen to Ginny's heart, showed them how to care for her teeth and they've seen the farrier at work 🥰

The chickens are one of the favourite animals here at the land and we've recently expanded our flock.

There's one chicken in particular that loves a fuss. Can you spot which one??

Bursting with pride seeing our teamwork and communication skills in action. I love working with these guys and it shows that many hands make light work. We like to teach children how to enrich the animals environment here and moving the coop will provide the chickens with more grass and more weeds to peck at.

Team work makes the dream work...
Here is our new herb garden. Home to 2 varieties of mint, lemon balm, 2 varieties of sage, rosemary & marjoram. Just a few bags of gravel to put down and it will be complete 🫶🤩
(P.s we know mint and lemon balm spread but we are here for it...the smell will be wonderful as you walk past, once it's established)

This was our first time opening the land to non home educated children. We had a blast and it was lovely to see the children enjoying the place too

We had a perfect little camp, its our second time doing a camping stay and we think its definitely going to be another annual event.

The kids had a bbq, played charades, read books and spent lots of time just relaxing in the hammocks.
Followed by a breakfast of fresh chicken eggs, toast, pancakes and fruit.

Are you and the kids bored? Do you have plans this Sunday? There are 3 spaces left on our bee workshop. DM us to book
