MAC members turning demo professionals! In mid February we had a fun and fast moving night where several members gave mini demos and shared tricks and knowledge in different mediums as everyone moved round to see th action every 20minutes. A super evening! Too busy to take many photos..

In early February, artist and Menston Arts Club member Tracey Krupianka gave a demonstration in acrylics of a coastal scene.
The following week, Tracey came to the workshop where members gave creating the same scene a go themselves, with Tracey on hand. Thanks Tracey for sharing tips and always a lively fun evening!

This talk by Lucia Smith (pastel artist) is brilliant! She is raising money for Yorkshire Cancer Research. It’s well worth going if you want to hear about her quest to paint the Yorkshire Dales!

Last Monday was the first day back at Menston Arts Club for 2026. Artist Paul Talbot Greaves gave a watercolour demonstration to the group, plenty of his fantastic work on show- very inspiring and enjoyable session.
Paul will be back on March 16th to give a demo using acrylics…not to be missed.

This evening (Mon 12th Jan) it’s a workshop- so bring along whatever you’re working on to make time for yourself, enjoy a cup of tea and conversations while you paint, sketch, draw. Maybe try something new using tips from Paul. See you later at Kirkland’s Centre Menston 7.30 pm

Brilliant makers market at Ilkley Manor House on 22nd and 23rd November. Same weekend as our exhibition in Kirklands, why not make a day of it and visit both!

Yesterday some members of our club met for a lovely sunny day of sketching at Robert’s Park, Saltaire. Enjoyed a cafe pit stop at Half Moon Cafe and lots of inspiration ahead of the Saltaire Art Trail this weekend.
