☺️ 🎶 We’re delighted to share that Wirksworth Music Centre has received a brand‑new gazebo, thanks to the support of CGI — one of the world’s largest IT and business consulting firms.

CGI are proud to support and sponsor local community groups and sports clubs and after being nominated by one of our parents, we’re thrilled to benefit from their community scheme. The gazebo will be a huge help at our outdoor concerts, rehearsals and events ☺️ 🎶

🌼🎶 Spring Concerts 2026 — A Wonderful Celebration of Music!

This Easter we had a fantastic celebration of the hard work from the start of the year, with two brilliant Spring Concerts, showcasing the talent and enthusiasm of our young musicians.

From recorder rags, string grooves, guitar classics and our uplifting choir in Matlock Bath, to beautiful performances of Nimrod, Mahler’s Adagietto, Bach’s Double Concerto and music from The Lion King, plus Ticket to Ride, at Anthony Gell School, our players filled both venues with confidence, teamwork and joy. We’re so proud of everything they have achieved this term.

A huge thank‑you to all parents, carers and supporters — your encouragement makes these moments possible.

📸 We’ve shared a whole collection of photos from the concerts — enjoy reliving the music! Thanks to Mathias Graf.

New students are always welcome. If you’re thinking of joining us, we’d love to hear from you.

🌼🎵 Here’s to more fabulous music this Spring!
