Why the Conference is Important

For those living in rural communities, isolation can be weaponised by perpetrators of domestic abuse. Abuse in rural settings often continues for around 25% longer due to barriers such as limited local support services and a lack of reliable transport. For many victims, the workplace is their only safe space.

The Derbyshire Rural Domestic Abuse In The Workplace Conference will provide practical insights, guidance and tools to help employers create safer, more supportive workplaces for their staff.
