Somewhere under here are 2 gates that used to be at the entrance to the field earmarked for Marldons Garden of Rest at the top of Church Hill. This morning we have cleared the area and rescued the gates. Could we ask that this area is not used for fly tipping Garden waste it only means that someone else has to come along snd clear up after you the village has a wonderful composting scheme so please take your garden waste there rather than dump it

Can you spare an hour this morning?
The wonderful Dave Berlyn delivered tyres for planters and a pile of hardcore last night, now we have to shovel it up and into the tyres so if anyone has an hour to spare at 9.30 this morning (weather permitting) we would appreciate some help with this job should only take about an hour with help. Memorial Garden Village Road opposite Millmans Farm bring a spade

A very productive morning working alongside MEG to cut back the wild area of Jubilee Meadow and tidy around the edges plus the car park and general area in preparation for the Apple Pie Fair.
A huge thank you to everyone who helped with a special shout out to Keith who went above and beyond with his strimming and the lady who came over from Livermead to help. We hope to be down there again soon to continue the work so watch this space and if you are free please join us.

We had a good trample around to make sure there were no nests or wildlife in the long grass before we started It looks a bit forlorn now but the seeds have been well scattered around with some wild areas left long so we hope to see new growth soon and even more flowers next year

Pre Apple Pie Fair tidy up in Jubilee Meadow Weds 9th Aug 9.30-11.00
On Weds we will be working with MEG to trim the wild flower area and have a general tidy up around the meadow in preparation for the Apple Pie Fair, if you can spare some time to help please come along. Please wear sensible shoes and bring gardening gloves if you can sorry this activity is not suitable for children as machinery will be on site.
