Due to a number of people offering to help to keep the hub running, we will be holding a meeting on Tuesday 22nd at 6pm upstairs at the hub. At this meeting we can speak to anyone interested about the roles needed (currently three trustees and volunteers if the trustees can’t do one in four Friday evenings). If we can recruit three trustees we will submit DBS checks and add anyone on to the charity commission database on the evening, so please bring with photo ID ie passport or driving licence, and proof of your address.
For an Enhanced DBS check, you generally need to provide at least one document from Group 1 (Primary ID) and at least two other documents from Group 2a or 2b, ensuring that one of the latter confirms your current address. All documents must be originals and in your current name.
Here's a breakdown:
Group 1 (Primary ID):
Passport (any valid and current passport)
Biometric Residence Permit (UK)
Current driving licence photocard (UK, Isle of Man, Channel Islands, and EU)
Birth certificate (must be issued within 12 months of birth, UK, Isle of Man, Channel Islands)
Adoption certificate (UK and Channel Islands)
Group 2a (Trusted Government Documents):
Current driving licence (paper version), Birth Certificate (issued after the time of birth), Marriage/Civil Partnership Certificate, HM Forces ID card, and Fi****ms Licence.
Group 2b (Other Documents):
Utility bill (must show your current address)
Bank statement (must show your current address)
Credit card statement (must show your current address)
Mortgage statement (must show your current address)
National Insurance card
