Marham Friends 2026 We are Marham Friends, which is a community based non-profit organisation for the people in Marham Village and Upper Marham, Norfolk.

The group was created in 2019 by local individuals to provide events for the local community.

Community Yard Sale, which will take place on
Sunday 13 September 2026, between 8am and 1pm.

Registration is Free

To register your interest and for inclusion on to the location maps, please email: [email protected], stating Yard Sale in the Subject Line of the email.

Marham Friends are pleased to announce more dates for your diaries..... More details will be published nearer the times of these events and we welcome your support in attending all the events.

10th October 2026 - Horse Racing Night at the Marham Bowls & Social Club. This will be a ticket only event and any profits will go to supporting a local Youth Group.

23-31 October2026 - Halloween Trail within the community.

22 November 2026 - Marham Friends Christmas Fayre at the Village Hall, with Father Christmas making a special appearance.

Marham Community Yard Sale

Greetings All.

The time has come and yes you all asked for it, well Marham Friends have acknowledged all the requests and will be hosting a Community Yard Sale on 13 September 2026 from 8am until 1pm.

Registration is required please email: [email protected] and in the Subject Line please input Yard Sale.

We do not charge for any pitches and what profit you make is all YOURS!

The Point of Contact for this event is Pablo Walsingham and online maps of participants will be available. However, these may not be to the actual location due to Google Maps…..

We are launching the Marham Community Scarecrow Competition. Design and create your own Scarecrow. Display outside your house/business from Monday 24th August till Saturday 5th September.

Judging will take place on 3rd and 4th September.
The winner of the best scarecrow will be notified on 6th September and win a cash prize. Yes that's a £££CASH PRIZE£££

Let Marham Friends know you will be displaying a scarecrow and for inclusion on the village location list, please email [email protected] by 19th August.

Proceeds from Marham Friends' Fun Day will help community and good causes.

The spokesperson said: "Marham Friends would like to express their heartfelt thanks to all attendees, performers, volunteers, donors and the King's Lynn Sea Cadets who helped make the day such a brilliant success."

Marham Friends would like to provide a heartfelt thank you to all the traders/vendors/ stallholders performers/exhibitors and volunteers for attending our recent Funday, with your support, patience and good will the event was a complete success.

We would also like to thank the local communities for attending and providing very positive comments and favourable feedback of the event.

Just over £1500 was raised, which will be used to fund local community projects, donating to good causes and other local community events.

Marham Friends have already started organising next year’s event, which will be on 6th June 2027, same place, same timings and we are looking forward to hosting another successful event.

Timings….The actual event starts at 1000am and will end around 330pm. Performing Arts Dancing will be at 1230 pm and the Dog Show will start at 1pm. Retro games start at 2pm and the Raffle should start at 3pm.
