☀️ Good morning from our newest resident, Big John! ☀️

Big John is such a happy boy who absolutely loves life! He’s already been busy showing us just how adaptable he is. He has successfully passed his small child test, and after a little bit of initial excitement, he settled right down in his small dog test!

Just look at him rocking these fabulous polkadot jammies - he’s looking rather dapper, wouldn’t you say? 🩵

🚨 MISSING GREYHOUND - PLEASE SHARE 🚨

Our hearts go out to everyone looking for Droopys Erlybird, who has gone missing after being spooked and slipping his lead at Clacket Services (between junctions 5 and 6 on the M25) on Sunday.

Gorgeous girl Yoshi is looking for her forever home! 🏡🐾

Last week she met one of our young volunteers, Callie! She was a little unsure of this strange little human who smells of biscuits and juice to start with, but she soon warmed up nicely and was happy following Callie around on the lead!

Yoshi is a lovely, happy girl who is going to make an absolute wonderful companion for someone. On top of her lovely nature, she has also passed her small breed test 🖤

🌟Meet Snowy! 🌟

At just 3 years old, Snowy is an incredibly sweet and affectionate retired greyhound who is patiently waiting for a family to call her own.

After having her bags packed since August, her home offer sadly fell through at the very last minute. Now, this wonderful girl is officially back on the lookout for a forever sofa to claim.

When she isn't soaking up affection indoors, Snowy absolutely loves her walks and thrives on getting out to explore the world. Snowy is an absolute joy, a happy hound who just wants to love and be loved.

She gets along nicely with other dogs of different breeds and sizes. Snowy is wonderful with younger children out on walks, though she would prefer a peaceful adult-only home or one with older kids for her everyday living.

We are based in Cambridgeshire but will travel to find Snowy her forever home 🏠🚗💨

These two lovely bonded greyhounds, Popeye and Belle, are officially reserved and heading to their forever home together soon! 🐾

We often hear from wonderful families interested in homing a pair, but we don't always have a ready-made bonded duo waiting in the kennels. If you are looking to welcome two greyhounds into your life, a pre-bonded pair isn't your only option!

We are experienced in dog introductions and are always happy to carefully match and introduce two individual dogs under supervision to see if they would be a happy fit for a shared home.

Already have a dog at home? Whether they are one of our former resident hounds or from somewhere else, we always encourage you to bring them along to the kennels for a meet-and-greet. After all, it is incredibly important that your current hound gets a say in choosing their new best buddy too!

Over the years, we have successfully rehomed countless pairs - from lifelong best friends to dogs who only just met here at the kennels.

This month has been absolutely magical for our retired hounds, filled with all treats and absolutely no tricks. As you can see by the gorgeous faces in this photo, we have a cauldron full of wonderful news to share with you:

🏚️Celebrating Halloween In Their Forever Homes: Lark, Honey, Dazzler, Rolo, Alfie, Diana, Roddy, Eunice, Holly, Jess, Aria, Emma, Lily, Isabel, Blue and Ronnie have all officially cast a spell on their new families and gone to their forever homes!

🧛🏻‍♀️ Settling In To Their New Homes: Dee and Harry are currently enjoying their settling in periods, getting cozy for the chilly autumn nights!

🧟‍♀️Reserved To Go Home Soon: The magic continues as Ariel, our other Harry, Manilla, Amber, and Ash are officially reserved, along with Popeye and Belle who are reserved together as a bonded pair! 🕸️✨

We want to say a huge thank you to all of our incredible supporters. Whether you share our updates online or visit us in person to give the dogs some love, your dedication makes these happy retirements possible!

🏡 Ronnie Got His Second Chance! 🏡

We are so happy to share that Ronnie (Naldo) has been officially rehomed!

Following our recent appeal after his previous owner sadly had to let him go due to health reasons, we were absolutely blown away by the amazing amount of love and attention his post received ♥️

Ronnie has already settled into his new home and is doing brilliantly!

Thank you to everyone who shared his story and reached out, and a massive well done to Ronnie! 🐾🏡

🏡 Blue Goes Home! 🏡

Look at that face - is there anything better than the face of a snoozing Greyhound!? 💙

We are thrilled to let everyone know that Blue (Blue Arminta) has been rehomed and is thriving in her new chapter. She has quickly mastered the art of spending her time sharing lazy days with her new best friend, Barney, and making sure she is thoroughly spoilt rotten by her new family. Whether she's stretched out upside down or buried under mountains of blankets, it's clear she is loving her new home!

Well done, Blue! Here’s to a lifetime of cozy beds and happy days 🐾💤🏡
