TH96 Run is a charity fun run set up in memory of Tommy Hardman. Tom sadly passed away in November 2012 from SADS (sudden arrhythmic death syndrome).

It is an annual event which raises money for CRY (Cardiac Risk In The Young)

Morning, us again

Please, if you or you know anyone who is aged 14-35 you would like to benefit from a free heart screening in Heywood, funded by all the money you raise with the run and cricket match. Get registered below this only comes round once a year.

After a very thorough and professional pitch inspection just now and with the expected rain we have decided we will be r**t to play.

Heywood as a town always gets together to remember tom and eggers whilst having a good laugh doing it and raising some money for Cardiac Risk in the Young.

Meet the parents of Tommy

They will always gr**t you with a smile whenever you see them, they sometimes put on a great BBQ and when you see Margaret with the bucket just say yes and throw a few quid in. Ha

They are forever grateful for everything that tom and eggers mates and family do to get this fantastic cricket match on every year.

All money raised on Sunday will go towards the charity Cardiac Risk in the Young and in memory of tom and eggers.

This was the first pic 14yrs ago of toms lemons and eggers.

Bar a few extra wrinkles and plenty more spiced rums drank, we still all turn up year in year out and one of them on the lemons pic jack Morley who idolised Tommy plays professionally for Derbyshire, he always says he learnt from the best in Chris hardy when he opened bat with him first game. Which is understandable really. 🤣🤣

Jokes aside, Tommy and eggers would be proud of all the lads who play every year and also would be laughing at some of the dropped catches we all do. See you all Sunday.

We will do the Tommy parky remembrance trophy for moment of the match as usual. Tommy (the best wicket keeper in Heywood) is sadly missed and was a key member of the eggers team. He will be remembered on Sunday like always ❤️

Also sadly missed is Mr heywood himself Dennis Booth. Was always a keen helper for all our events. And was that much loved he even has his own viewing area named after him at Heywood cricket. He will also be remembered on Sunday. ❤️
