Greater Manchester Residents - TIME IS RUNNING OUT!
Sign the open letter in our bio!
In December, the Greater Manchester Integrated Care Board (ICB) will review their decision to pause the rollout of the Palantir-run Federated Data Platform (FDP), which Wes Streeting is trying to force on all NHS trusts.
We OBJECT to NHS privatisation.
We OBJECT to wasting healthcare workers’ time training in and implementing a data platform that provides no benefit over the custom made platform we currently use.
We OBJECT to a U.S. spy tech company handling our sensitive health data - a company that is already being used for racist ‘predictive policing’, mass surveillance and illegal deportations by the Trump administration.
We OBJECT to taxpayers’ money being used to fund a company that enables war-crimes and ethnic cleansing.
Find further information about the reasons why we must object to the roll-out of the FDP in the open letter linked in our bio.
Mark Fisher, Head of the ICB (who has written about his grievances with the FDP) has told us that they will be taking public opinion into account in their review.
So sign our open letter and spread the word!!
Whilst we encourage you to sign as individuals, we really need community groups, organisations, shops, radio stations etc to show the ICB that the whole of society objects to handing our health data over to this insidious company.
In a union? Present the model motion we’ve made (in our linktree), sign the open letter as a branch and escalate the campaign.
This decision will impact all of us.
BUT TOGETHER WE CAN STOP IT!
