TripleC UK

TripleC UK TripleC is a BAFTA-winning, disabled-led, UK based, community interest company.

TripleC is a disabled-led CIC advancing equity, access and representation for deaf, disabled and/or neurodivergent (DDN) artists across the arts, screen and media sectors on a national level through specialist training and community support. Our mission is to dismantle barriers and ensure that the arts, screen, stage and digital sectors are truly inclusive from the ground up. We believe that being

deaf, disabled or neurodivergent (DDN) is a strength, not a weakness. We advocate for better representation, true accessibility, and industry change by providing the tools and training necessary for organisations to become authentically inclusive. We bridge the gap between DDN creatives and the industry through professional development, consultancy, and community building. We deliver expert training to organisations across the UK, including two flagship ScreenSkills programmes: Access, Approaches and Actions Foundations Training, and Access from Concept to Delivery. We also host regular masterclasses and webinars featuring world-class talent, designed to provide DDN creatives with industry-leading insights and skills. Alongside this, we run a weekly, fully accessible Youth Theatre programme in Manchester city centre. TripleC is the force behind the Disabled Access Network for Creatives (DANC), providing a vital space for deaf, disabled and neurodivergent artists to connect and find opportunities. TripleC is more than an organisation; it is a movement dedicated to shifting the lens of disability representation and ensuring the creative industries reflect the diversity of the real world.

The new extended policy briefing on class inequality in UK television is now live.

Produced by the University of Leeds, and supported by the Film and TV Charity, 'What’s On? Rethinking Class in the Television Industry' brings together the strongest evidence yet on how class shapes people’s experiences behind the scenes.

Drawing on our Looking Glass data - cross‑tabulated by class for the first time - alongside years of qualitative research, the briefing reveals a stark pattern:

Workers from working‑class backgrounds report worse mental health, stronger intentions to leave, and higher rates of bullying and harassment – even when they hold permanent roles.

The research introduces the concept of classed risk distribution, showing how financial, emotional, and career risks fall hardest on those with the least capacity to absorb them.

Alongside the evidence, the briefing sets out practical policy actions for Ofcom, DCMS, ScreenSkills, broadcasters, and production companies - building on tools and levers that already exist.

This isn’t just about fairness.

It’s about workforce sustainability, and ultimately, the stories audiences get to see.
