Breeze Network Bracknell Forest & Wokingham Fun, FREE, bike rides for women! Founded by British Cycling with the aim of inspiring one million mo We want to change that.

Breeze is the biggest programme ever to get more women into riding bikes for fun. Our aim is to help thousands more women feel confident and comfortable about going on a ride. While cycling is becoming more and more popular in the UK, the proportion of women getting involved is actually declining. We train up Breeze champions who organise fun, social, local bike rides for women. Rides go at a speed that suits everyone, and they often start or finish at a cafe so everyone can have a drink and a chat. We're also promoting female-friendly bike shops, and helping more women find bikes to hire and buy cheaply and signposting to FREE adult Cycle Training (Bikeability).

Next week on Wednesday Anne's ride is Riseley to Sichester, Caroline's South Ascot to Locks Ride Cafe & Sue with Hazel Cantley to Crumbs Cafe. On Thursday Sue is are offering a ride from Cantley to Fernygrove. We hope the good weather continues and some of you are free to join us.

Another glorious sunny morning for our ride from Cantley to Foxes Den. Sally P, Karen, Jayne, Joy & Nicki joined me for the ride which took us round the back of Binfield, passing Westley Mill & Fernygrove, Moss End, through Quelm Park up to Binfield and the cafe. Unfortunately the cafe was closed as the coffee machine had broken 😱. But I remembered that Jill had gone to Daphne's cafe round the corner. They were very welcoming and we were able to get seats outside to enjoy the sunshine. Great coffee and cakes, it was a hit with everyone. Thank you all for your great company this morning. Sue

I had a rather strange start to the day, with phone calls from Breeze riders that I wasn't seeing today. (more on my blog). With only one rider signed up for my ride as of yesterday morning, I decided to change my planned ride to NEXT Wednesday, and Louise and I joined Julie's ride from Ockwell Park to Burnham Beeches. What a glorious end to September, a warm start to the ride and then blue skies!!🌞. I welcomed Maria on her first Breeze Ride and wad joined by Denise, Wendy & Diane. We enjoyed a ride from Cantley over to Stubbings Garden centre, where we sat outside, making the most of the sunshine.
