Come and join our friendly team! We are looking for a Women's Domestic Abuse Caseworker.

37.5 hours per week based at Stockport Women’s Centre
Starting Salary £26,225 - £28,300
Annual leave: 25 days plus statutory bank holidays
12-month Fixed term contract

Main aims of the post:

- Supporting and working with women from Stockport who are experiencing or have experienced domestic abuse which will include safety planning, risk assessment, safeguarding, case management and advocacy.
- Delivering group work to women, relating to domestic abuse awareness.
- Providing a weekly drop-in session to women that are experiencing or have experienced domestic abuse.
- Working collaboratively with our domestic abuse partnership as well as other agencies as appropriate to the case.

Our reception area is currently filled with inspirational quotes about volunteering and each one is a lovely reminder of the impact that volunteers have on organisations and communities every day. They perfectly capture the spirit of generosity, compassion and connection that our volunteers bring to the Centre.

Whether they're offering a listening ear, sharing their skills or helping us behind the scenes, our volunteers make a huge difference to the women who access our services. Their time, dedication and kindness help us create a safe, welcoming space where women can feel supported and empowered.

To every one of our volunteers, thank you for everything you do. We appreciate you not just this week, but every week.

We are currently recruiting for a Young Women and Mental Health Case Worker.

22.5 hours per week based at Stockport Women’s Centre.
Salary: £15,736 - £16,980 (FTE £26,227 – £28,300)
Annual leave: 25 days plus statutory bank holidays
12-month Fixed term contract 12 extension subject to funding.

Main aims of the post:
To support and work with young women 18-25 from Stockport who have multiple unmet needs who have experienced or are living with mental health issues.
The role will include safety planning, risk assessment, safeguarding, case management and advocacy.
