We are a member-led organisation supporting & empowering low-income communities across Greater Manchester to fight for a better life. We know that the economic and political set up in this country isn’t working for us, so we set up ACORN to give our people the power and representation they’re entitled to.

ACORN have been taking direct action to tackle the big bosses lining their pockets with our cash and making cost of living crisis worse by the day 😡

To tackle this crisis, we need to put pressure on all fronts, including on politicians to not turn a blind eye to companies squeezing us ever harder.

We've been out talking to the public in North Manchester about the cost of living, the rising price of water and how the current 💩 infrastructure has been affecting them - and what we're hearing is not good 👂😡

It's unacceptable that the people of the North West are being crushed under debt or having dirty water coming out of their taps 🤬

After Tuesday's mayoral hustings, co-organised by ACORN, GM Living Income, the GM Coalition of Disabled People and GM Immigration Aid Unit, we spoke to Liberal Democrat candidate Richard Kilpatrick about how he would tackle the cost of living crisis in Greater Manchester.
