EEC is proud to be a member of GM=EqAl.
Our conference brought together community organisations, lived-experience leaders, and partners from across Greater Manchester for a powerful day of learning, collaboration, and celebration.
We explored key themes including inclusion, wellbeing, equalities gaps, and practical tools to drive impact, alongside inspiring performances, a lived experience seminar, and a vibrant project showcase.
Well done to all the team and volunteers—amazing work! What a day!

Thanks to the parents and youth workers who joined us last Thursday for the GM Project careers co-design session. Your insights and experiences are helping shape more inclusive and accessible pathways for families and young people.

We also had the opportunity to promote our TAP Project, sharing the impact of our work within the community. Important discussions highlighted how vital funding is for VCSE organisations, and the ongoing challenges many face in accessing the resources needed to continue supporting communities.

We're looking for a new trustee! 🐝

Do you work with young people in Manchester? Are you passionate about helping them succeed?

We Love MCR Charity is looking for someone from the youth sector to join our board of trustees. This isn't a passive role. It's a hands-on opportunity to help us make sure young people's voices are genuinely heard and reflected at every level of what we do.

You'll work closely with our Grants Manager to create meaningful connections between the young people we support and the charity that exists to back them.

If you have experience in the youth or education sectors and have a real passion for Manchester and its young people, we'd love to hear from you.

The deadline to apply is 30 April at 12 noon.

Download the full recruitment pack below to find out more and how to apply.
