🎄 Help us turn £100 into £200 for Manchester’s homeless community.

It might only be summer, but Christmas prep starts now!

This December 23rd–27th, Lifeshare will be the only charity in Manchester opening its doors daily (7am–7pm) to provide a warm, safe indoor space for those sleeping rough.

We’re raising £3,000 through the Christmas Challenge, which means every pledge gets DOUBLED!

FROM MANCHESTER TO DOWNING STREET ❤️

Everyone at Lifeshare would like to congratulate andy.burnham on becoming the UK’s Prime Minister.

As a long-standing friend and supporter of Lifeshare, we’ve seen first-hand his commitment to tackling homelessness and supporting some of the most vulnerable people in our communities.

For over 42 years, Lifeshare has worked to provide practical support, dignity, and a welcoming community for people experiencing homelessness and food poverty in Manchester. We welcome the UK Prime Minister’s commitment to ending rough sleeping and look forward to working alongside him, our partners, supporters, volunteers, and the wider community to help make that ambition a reality.

Ending homelessness takes all of us.

A huge good luck to Andrew of Depledge Strategic Wealth Management, as he takes on the incredible challenge of swimming across Coniston this weekend in support of Lifeshare.

This is no small feat, and we’re incredibly grateful that Andrew has chosen to push himself both physically and mentally to help raise funds for people experiencing homelessness and hardship in Manchester.

Every stroke will help us continue providing vital support, practical assistance, and hope to some of the city’s most vulnerable people.

From everyone at Lifeshare – thank you, Andrew. We’re cheering you on every step (and swim stroke!) of the way. You’ve got this! 🏊‍♂️💙

This National Volunteers’ Week, we want to say a huge THANK YOU to every single person who gives their time to support Lifeshare. ❤️

Our volunteers are at the heart of everything we do. They collect food donations, cook and serve hot breakfasts from 7–9am every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, sort clothing donations, manage our shower facilities, prepare food parcels, make endless teas and coffees, offer a listening ear and friendly conversation, and so much more.

Thanks to their dedication, compassion and hard work, hundreds of people experiencing homelessness and hardship receive practical support, dignity and kindness every week.

To all our volunteers – thank you for showing up, caring deeply, and making a real difference in people’s lives. We simply couldn’t do it without you.

This Sunday, Anthony, a former Lifeshare service user, is taking on the 10K to give back to Lifeshare, a charity that supported him when he was homeless.

Lifeshare was a lifeline to Anthony during one of the hardest periods of his life, and now he’s running to help others facing homelessness in Manchester get the same support, safety and hope he once needed. ❤️

So far, he’s raised an incredible £360, but he’s hoping to reach £1,000 before race day on Sunday. Every donation, no matter the size, will help Lifeshare continue providing essential support to vulnerable and homeless people across the city.
