🎓✨ What a journey! What an incredible achievement! ✨🎓

Twelve months ago, one of our guests at Homes of Hope took a huge step forward as we supported him in going to Mattersey Bible College.

Last week, we had the incredible privilege of celebrating as he graduated with a Theology degree, alongside an NVQ Level 3 in Sociology! 🙌📚🎉
What makes this achievement even more special is what comes next… ❤️

He is now preparing to return to Homes of Hope as a volunteer, using the experiences, knowledge and faith he has gained to encourage and support others who are walking a similar journey. 🏠🙏

We couldn’t be prouder of him. His story is a beautiful reminder that where someone starts does not have to determine where they finish. With opportunity, support, faith, perseverance and God’s grace, lives can be transformed. ✝️🔥

🛶🌊 A Day on the Water with Homes of Hope! 🌊🛶

What an incredible day of fellowship, fun, laughter and bonding as Homes of Hope took our guys kayaking! 🙌❤️

Sometimes, it’s about more than just getting out on the water. It’s about creating memories, building relationships, trying something new, and reminding the people we serve that there is a life beyond the circumstances they may find themselves in today. 🌅

Watching the guys step out of their comfort zones, encourage one another, laugh together and simply enjoy being in the moment was truly special. 💙

We want the people we serve to know that their story isn’t finished. There are new experiences to discover, new friendships to build, new dreams to dream and a future full of hope. 🙏✨

That’s what days like this are about — showing them that there is life out there, and that they are worthy of experiencing it. 🛶🌊❤️

🎉 What a week of celebration at Homes of Hope! 🙌

We’re so proud of Ryan and Cyril for successfully completing their Facilitator’s 12-Step Recovery Training. 👏📖

It has always been the vision of Homes of Hope to open a recovery home for those who are struggling with addiction.

As we continue this journey, putting the pieces together and learning what a rehabilitation programme truly involves, it’s such a blessing to gain valuable tools like the 12-Step Programme.

A huge thank you to Dave from The Light Group (Homeless Pastors), and to Michael and Jayne from Life Church for your time, encouragement, and investment. Your support means so much as we move forward with this vision. ❤️

Today, the Homes of Hope family gathered around the table with our guests for an evening of fellowship, Bible study, and a delicious meal prepared on the BBQ by Cyril one of our Supportworkers❤️🏡🍽️📖

These moments remind us that true transformation often happens in the simple things—sharing a meal, encouraging one another, growing in God's Word, and building meaningful relationships. It's in these moments that hope is restored, lives are strengthened, and people are reminded that they are loved and never alone. 🤝✨

We are so thankful for every opportunity to love, serve, and walk alongside those God has entrusted to us. Together, we are building more than a community—we are building hope. 💙

What a beautiful way to end our time at Encounter Camp with Homes of Hope!

❤️ We were so blessed to witness God at work in countless ways. Seeing lives touched, hearts transformed, and miracles unfold reminds us that nothing is impossible with God. 🙌✨

It has been especially encouraging to watch our guys grow in fellowship, laugh together, encourage one another, and simply enjoy each other's company.

💙 These moments of friendship and faith are treasures that will last long after camp has ended.

For now, it's goodbye to Encounter Camp—but we leave with grateful hearts, renewed faith, and joyful memories, trusting that God will continue the work He has begun. 🌿🙏

Part 3 – Encounter Camp 🙌🔥

The greatest highlight for our staff at Homes of Hope wasn't just the activities or the memories—it was witnessing lives transformed by the power of God. ❤️

Seeing our guys find salvation, receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, and publicly declare their faith through baptism was truly unforgettable. 🌊✝️

There is no greater joy than watching hearts surrender to Christ and seeing God begin a new work in their lives. We give Him all the glory! 🙏

More unforgettable memories from Encounter Camp! 🙌❤️
When we asked our guys what their biggest highlight of the camp was, the answer was clear... the worship. 🎶✨

As we worshipped the one true and living God together, Jesus Christ ✝️, the Holy Spirit moved powerfully. 🙏🔥 Hearts were softened, moods shifted, perspectives were transformed, and chains were broken. ⛓️➡️🕊️

There is nothing like being in the presence of God. Lives were impacted, faith was strengthened, and we witnessed His love and power at work. All glory belongs to Him! 🙌❤️

✨ ENCOUNTER CAMP 2026 | PART 1 ✨

What a week it has been! ❤️🙌
This week we headed off on our annual Encounter Camp, taking our guests away for a life-changing week of encountering Jesus. From the very beginning, we knew God was on the move.

The journey started before we even arrived! 🚌🎶 As we worshipped together on the minibus, there was such a sense of anticipation, expectation, and excitement for all that God was going to do. His presence filled the journey, and our hearts were ready.

Throughout the week, we witnessed the incredible power of the Holy Spirit at work. ⛓️➡️🕊️ Chains were broken. Hearts were healed. Souls were set free. Lives were transformed as people encountered the love, grace, and freedom that can only be found in Jesus. ❤️✝️

There is nothing more beautiful than seeing people step into the freedom God has for them. This is why we do what we do.

This is only the beginning… stay tuned for Part 2, where we'll be sharing even more of the amazing things God did during Encounter Camp! 🔥🙏

🏠💙 HOMES OF HOPE HOMELESSNESS CHALLENGE 💙🏠

We're raising £20,000 to support the life-changing work of Homes of Hope and the people we serve across Greater Manchester.

To highlight the reality faced by many people experiencing homelessness, the Homes of Hope team will be spending 24 hours living as homeless people. During this challenge, we will have no luxuries and will rely only on the services and support available to people experiencing homelessness in Greater Manchester.

This isn't just about raising money – it's about raising awareness.

📊 The latest figures show that 5,915 households, including around 8,600 children, were living in temporary accommodation across Greater Manchester as of March 2025, highlighting the growing housing and homelessness crisis in our region.

Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help us continue supporting vulnerable individuals and families who need hope, practical help, and a pathway to a brighter future.
