πŸ πŸ’™ HOMES OF HOPE HOMELESSNESS CHALLENGE πŸ’™πŸ

We're raising Β£20,000 to support the life-changing work of Homes of Hope and the people we serve across Greater Manchester.

To highlight the reality faced by many people experiencing homelessness, the Homes of Hope team will be spending 24 hours living as homeless people. During this challenge, we will have no luxuries and will rely only on the services and support available to people experiencing homelessness in Greater Manchester.

This isn't just about raising money – it's about raising awareness.

πŸ“Š The latest figures show that 5,915 households, including around 8,600 children, were living in temporary accommodation across Greater Manchester as of March 2025, highlighting the growing housing and homelessness crisis in our region.

Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help us continue supporting vulnerable individuals and families who need hope, practical help, and a pathway to a brighter future.

πŸ™ Please support our challenge and help us reach our Β£20,000 target.

🌟 Help Us Celebrate Shane 🌟

This week, we were blessed by a very special visitor at Homes of Hope.

Shane is a young boy who is partially sighted, but what truly stands out is his incredible heart for people experiencing homelessness and those who have been left behind.

Despite his own challenges, Shane consistently shows compassion, kindness, and a desire to make a difference in the lives of others.

Shane regularly prays for our guests, raises money to support our work, and generously donates items to help people on their journey towards a brighter future.

During his visit this week, Shane spent time praying for our team and donated food, clothing, and financial support to help those we serve. His selflessness and dedication are an inspiration to us all.

Thank you, Shane, for reminding us that age is no barrier to making a real impact. Your kindness is changing lives, and we are so grateful for your support.
Please join us in celebrating Shane and the difference he is making in our community. πŸ‘β€οΈ

At Homes of Hope, we believe in preparing the whole person for life β€” body, soul, and spirit. Today we spotlight one of our guests who has set his sights on eating right, budgeting wisely, and building healthy habits for a brighter future.

True transformation happens when every area of life is nurtured, and we are proud to walk alongside individuals as they grow stronger mentally, spiritually, and physically.

β€œBut my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” β€” Philippians 4:19 πŸ™πŸ½

There’s something truly special happening in our gardens πŸŒ±πŸ’š

One of our incredible residents has been giving their time to help care for the outdoor spaces at Homes of Hope.

What started as a place of refuge has grown into something so much more β€” a place where purpose is rediscovered, confidence is rebuilt, and community begins to flourish 🌼

Watching our guests not only rebuild their own lives, but then choose to give back, is at the very heart of who we are. Homes of Hope isn’t just about providing a roof β€” it’s about offering stability, friendship, love, and a renewed sense of direction 🀝✨

β€œThe best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.” – Galatians 5:13 πŸ™

If you feel inspired to be part of this journey, whether through volunteering, supporting, or simply learning more, we’d love to hear from you πŸ’¬

Our charity van has officially been sign written, and we couldn’t be more pleased with how it turned out. A huge thank you to Gatley Signs for their amazing work bringing it to lifeβ€”be sure to check out the QR code on the van!

This van will now be out and about across Greater Manchester, helping us keep our homes maintained and giving our guests the chance to get involved in even more volunteering.
