It’s time for my April fundraiser!! This year, supported by my personal trainer Jill, I will be raising money for Stockport Community Counselling, by doubling my steps and increasing my daily exercise by learning cringy dances and posting them!

At The Hub, it will be party dance season, we will get getting the kids out and about and I might even let them drag me onto the sports court!

Please support this great charity by donating, sharing or just cheering me on :) Happy April Gorgeous People!

I couldn’t be prouder of the amazing Pauline Shaw, she has managed the CTP foodbank since lockdown and today was recognised by the Mayor for her outstanding achievement.

Pauline is always gracious and always kind, she is an inspiration to our volunteers and takes the best care of those that we serve.

We are so grateful and proud 🄰

Congratulations Pauline Shaw, We love you! ā¤ļø

School Uniform Support!!!

As a mum I know that when your child returns to school after the holidays, we can be hit with the shock that they seemed to grow a foot over Christmas and suddenly there uniform doesn’t fit!!

We have a surplus of pre-loved school trousers and polo shirts for primary ages, so drop me a message if you need some emergency uniform and we will deliver it to Stopford House or your local library.

Just drop us a private message with your child’s size, the colour required and your preferred collection library :)

The beginning...

The Cherry Tree Project was created with St Chads Church as a way to connect with the community of Cherry Tree and to meet with the young people. The aim of the project is to work with the community and to create a sustainable provision for the young people, creating new opportunities and access to support.

Since January 2019, a small team of youth workers have been walking the estate, chatting to the residents and spending time with the young people.

The project is being delivered by Rachel, Nigel and Andy who all live on and LOVE Cherry Tree :)

Starting on Monday 29th July, we will be delivering 2 sessions of sport/ games per week, with a healthy lunch, a water refill point and fresh fruit. We will also be working with the young people to host a community event on the 30th August (the obstacle course is booked and ready to inflate!).
