I’m truly honored to attend the 2026 International Town-Gown Association Conference hosted by Texas A&M University.

This conference brings together higher education leaders, municipal officials, community partners, and practitioners from across the country who are dedicated to strengthening the relationship between universities and the communities they serve. It has been an incredible opportunity to exchange ideas, explore innovative strategies, and engage in meaningful conversations around community engagement, public safety, neighborhood partnerships, economic development, and collaborative problem-solving.

I am also deeply humbled and grateful to have received my very first international award as a Community Partner during this event. This recognition means so much to me and reflects the ongoing work and commitment of Families Against Violence in creating safer, stronger, and more connected communities.

A heartfelt thank you to the International Town-Gown Association, Texas A&M University, and everyone

Grateful to have been part of such a powerful and inspiring evening at the Nigeria Diaspora Community Private Reception on the 13th of March at 116 Pall Mall.

It was a privilege to connect with an incredible network of leaders, changemakers, and professionals committed to strengthening UK–Africa relationships and driving meaningful impact across sectors.

A sincere thank you to the organisers and partners for bringing together such a dynamic and purpose-driven community. Events like this remind us of the importance of collaboration, dialogue, and shared vision in addressing the challenges that matter most.

Ambassador Tuggar has played a central role in advancing Nigeria’s modern diplomatic agenda, championing economic partnerships, diaspora engagement, and regional stability as part of Nigeria’s 4D foreign policy framework.

At Families Against Violence, we remain committed to building safer, stronger communities, and it was encouraging to engage with so many who share a passion for positive change.

Looking forward to continued conversations and partnerships ahead.

Every act of kindness makes a difference. ❤️

This Saturday, we’ll be in Manchester supporting homeless individuals and low-income families by providing hot food, clothes, blankets, shoes and essential toiletries to those who need it most.
Together with amazing partners like Helping Others UK and Mighty Meals, we’re coming together to support our community and spread hope where it’s needed most.

📍 Riga Street, Northern Quarter
🗓 Saturday 14th March
⏰ 2PM – 5PM

If you’re nearby, come say hello, volunteer, or simply help us share this message so it reaches someone who may need support.
Because community means looking out for each other. 🤝

This Ramadan, let’s join hands to protect our youth and steer our city away from the shadows of gang culture. By looking out for one another and leading with compassion, we can build a safer, stronger Manchester for everyone. May this month of mercy bring peace to our streets and unity to our hearts.

24 HOURS OUTSIDE. ONE REALITY.

154 PEOPLE sleeping rough.
4,500+ CHILDREN without stable homes.
12,700 EMPTY HOUSES.

THIS ISN’T JUST STATISTICS — THIS IS REAL LIFE.

We stepped outside for 24 hours…
Many don’t get to step back in.

IT’S TIME TO CARE.
IT’S TIME TO ACT.
