In case you missed it earlier, today is World Homeless Day.

This evening, could you please help a local child, adult or family who are homeless by making a donation?

A £50 donation could provide 70 vulnerable people with a hot shower and toiletries at one of our day centres.

Thank you in advance for any support you can give as we try to meet the growing need for our services.

Our Red Door centre team runs regular Cook Well sessions, helping local people in Bury to learn new skills, build connections - and create some delicious food to enjoy together too!

In a recent session, the group made cottage pie, choosing their own ingredients and creating nutritious meals that are easy to produce and are also cost-effective too.

IMPORTANT UPDATE
The venue for our health and homelessness fair which is taking place today, has changed.
Please note this will now be taking place today at our Cornerstone day centre (104B Denmark Road, Hulme, Manchester, M15 6JS) from 11am to 2pm instead of the Moss Side West Indian Sports and Social Club as previously advertised.
Please come along to Cornerstone - all are welcome.
This event is open to people experiencing or at risk of becoming homeless and will include a range of stalls and activities to support individuals and families with their health and wellbeing.
Attendees will also receive a free goodie bag, refreshments and lunch.
Staff and volunteers working in health or homelessness related support are also welcome to attend.

If you're homeless or at risk of becoming so, join us today for the Manchester Homeless Partnership Health Information Fair.

11am to 2pm at Moss Side West Indian Sports and Social Club, Manchester, M14 4SW

In a recent 'Active Together' session at our Red Door centre in Bury, visitors took part in a table tennis competition.

Everyone really enjoyed getting together to play, with John being crowned winner. He said: "Great activity and great atmosphere. Thank you."

Participants in our Red Door centre volunteer gardening afternoon did a great job digging over the soil and weeding. The lawns were mowed and paths cleared too.

Everyone worked very hard and said it was a fun afternoon - with some commenting they'd like to make it a regular event.

Thanks to everyone who helped. The garden is a really important part of our health and wellbeing work, and is enjoyed by lots of people visiting Red Door.
