After a week of visiting schools across Fleetwood and having honest conversations about county lines, grooming and exploitation, we came together for one final night of live music and a message of hope.

Hearing young people sing “Lay Your Knives Down” together was a powerful reminder of why we do what we do.

What a week in Fleetwood!

We had the privilege of visiting five incredible schools, using music to start important conversations about county lines, grooming and criminal exploitation.

A huge thank you to the staff and students at:
📍Garstang Community Academy
📍 Millfield Science & Performing Arts College
📍 St Aidan’s CE High School
📍 Cardinal Allen Catholic High School
📍 Fleetwood High School

We’d also like to say a huge thank you to the local police and our church partners - St. John’s, St. Nicholas, Emmanuel Church, Garstang Free Methodist, St. Peter’s and St. David’s - for their support and partnership throughout the week. We couldn’t do this without you.

Thank you for welcoming us so warmly and engaging so thoughtfully with these vital conversations. Every school we visit is another opportunity to help young people recognise the signs of exploitation and know where they can turn for support.

❌ No More County Lines in Fleetwood ❌

Last week, we visited Cardinal Allen High School and Fleetwood High School to speak with students about the dangers of county lines and the devastating impact it can have on young people and communities.

Delivered by Trust the sessions were attended by our Violence Reduction Network Sergeant Dan, and gave students the opportunity to hear powerful first-hand accounts from people with lived experience of county lines. These stories highlighted the realities of exploitation, knife crime and drug-related offending, helping young people to better understand the risks and recognise the warning signs.

Preventing the exploitation of young people starts with education, awareness and early intervention. We want every young person to know that they have the right to feel safe, and that support is always available if they are worried about themselves or someone they know.

By working together, we can help ensure there is no place for county lines in Fleetwood. 💙

Through live music and honest conversations, we’re helping young people recognise the signs of grooming and criminal exploitation while creating spaces where they feel safe to ask questions, seek help, and speak up.

What a way to end the Burnley tour!

After a week of visiting schools and having honest conversations about county lines, grooming and exploitation, we came together for an evening of live music, community, and a message of hope.

Huge thank you to St Matthew’s, Life Church Lancashire, St Cuthbert’s Burnley, St Luke’s Brierfield, and Lancashire Police for your support this week. We hope the conversations started this week continue long after the music ends.
