South Manchester Conservation Volunteers A voluntary conservation group working in and around south Manchester and Cheshire, England. New volunteers welcome!

See our website or contact us for more information. We are a group of conservation volunteers who get together every second or third Sunday to work on a task in the south Manchester or Cheshire area. The location varies each time, and so does the task - activities include making and repairing footpaths and steps, tree planting, hedge laying, coppicing, building bridges, clearing and improving pond

s and many more…. We welcome new volunteers - no experience is necessary. If you are interested in being out in the fresh air, doing some practical environmental conservation and meeting new people then come along and join us - itβ€˜s completely free to join and lots of fun.
