Ambassador Rahila Goomro was one of the brightest lights in APPSUKF, a woman whose compassion, dignity, and unwavering commitment to humanity made her a role model for all of us. I had the honour of presenting her award during 2021 visit, it was not just a recognition of her work; it was a recognition of her heart.
Her Legacy of Service
Humanitarian dedication: She worked tirelessly for those who had no voice, no platform, and no support.
Community empowerment: Her initiatives uplifted women, families, and vulnerable communities across Pakistan and beyond.
APPSUKF representation: As an Ambassador, she carried the values of APPSUKF with grace, humility, and strength.
Inspiration to volunteers: Many young volunteers stepped into service because they saw her example.
Her work was not just impactful, it was transformative.
💔 A Loss Felt Across APPSUKF
Her departure from this world has left a silence that is felt deeply across the entire APPSUKF family.
Trustees, Chairs, Volunteers, Ambassadors, and beneficiaries all feel the weight of this loss.
Her absence is not just emotional, it is the absence of a guiding presence, a kind smile, a reassuring voice.
إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ
May Allah swt give the deceased’s family and friends the patience to endure this tremendous loss.
May Allah swt bless and forgive the deceased’s soul.
May their life in Barzakh be blissful and inshaaAllah they will be raised in akhirah amongst those granted the highest ranks in Jannah near to the Prophet (saw).
