Starting 28 June, join producer educator every Sunday from 2:30–4:30pm for a beginner-friendly electronic jam session at CDR HQ.

No experience or equipment needed. Just come along, make music with others, and see where the session takes you.

We’re honoured to have UK funky pioneer as part of ’s EP “Ginseng” in the form of a massive remix of “Nettle Root” 🌿

As one of the defining architects of UK funky through both his productions and Roska Kicks & Snares label, Roska’s influence can be felt across generations of bass-heavy UK club music, including in PIGMNT’s own musical journey.

“Roska has definitely been an influence on me, especially coming up as a young Black producer in London,” says PIGMNT. “For this project, it felt right to reach out to a true funky legend to help bring it all together.”

’S next single “Suma Root” is out now 🌿

We caught up with the North-West London artist recently at our office and he reflected on some of the sounds and movements that shaped his approach to club music, from roskakickssnares, and , through to the influence of South African electronic music including Amapiano and Gqom.

“Suma Root” continues PIGMNT’s exploration of music as a healing force. The whole “Ginseng” EP drops next week on the CDR label!

Get to know ahead of his new EP release “Ginseng” 🌿

Rooted in grime, UK funky and bass-heavy club music, the North-West London artist blends rhythmic pressure with influences from Gqom, Amapiano and sounds across the African diaspora.

Inspired by medicinal herbs including Ginseng, Ashwagandha and Nettle Root, the project explores the idea of music as something healing, pairing weighty low-end with groove-led, club-ready energy.
