'The Sausage project' is being run by UCOMM, a charity based in Manchester-Withington that was set up to bring together different Black & Minority Ethnic groups for better integration into British Society, personal development and prosperity. The project aims to teach BME women in Greater Manchester how to make their own sausages, health awareness, computing skills, and general community integrati

on and engagement. It is helping them acquire enterprenurial skills, team work and communication skills, which in turn will enable them to startup businesses or find jobs.
