Breeze Network Devon & Cornwall

Breeze Network Devon & Cornwall The Breeze network is British Cycling’s exciting recreation programme to get more women riding a bike. We want to change that.

It is about fun, friendly and social bike rides in a local area – led by women for women. Breeze is the biggest programme ever to get more women into riding bikes for fun. Our aim is to help thousands more women feel confident and comfortable about going on a ride. While cycling is becoming more and more popular in the UK, the proportion of women getting involved is actually declining. We train up Breeze champions who organise fun, social, local bike rides for women. Rides go at a speed that suits everyone, and they often start or finish at a cafe so everyone can have a drink and a chat. We're also promoting female-friendly bike shops, and helping more women find bikes to hire and buy cheaply and signposting to FREE adult Cycle Training (Bikeability).

Great local bike shop for those in Cornwall 😀

Wow!

10 years already! It doesn’t seem 5 minutes ago we were picking the keys up to begin our adventures here in Summercourt and what a journey it has been.

As we open on our last day here in our current store we thought we’d run a little competition to say thank you, all you need to do is like, share and comment if you like… we will draw the winner out of a hat later this afternoon.

We can’t wait to welcome you all to our new store which we hope you will find bigger and better than before, a few new brands on the way and even more bikes to sit on and try.

Good luck, thank you and see you soon.
Team CMC.

Another great beginners ride and we avoided the showers. Went on a rescue mission to save a couple deer, that turned out didn't need saving. Always fun and games on the rides 😁

The 3rd in a series of Beginner Breeze rides from Dawlish to The Turfs Locks (Leader error - The pub is shut all day on a Tuesday) however, a couple of seals were spotted and that was a great, as well as some beautiful deer on the Powderham Estate. 7 participant and these rides are run in partnership with Women's Inner Wellness CIC, an amazing local initiative to improve women's wellbeing, health and connection.
