Great to see our Stanfield House team and residents out in the community today 🌳🌱

Residents and colleagues joined Raise: Cumbria Community Forest, alongside local MP Josh MacAlister, helping to maintain the new woodland being developed at the former Ehenside School site in Cleator Moor.

At Stanfield House, recovery is about much more than what happens within the walls of the service. Opportunities like today give people the chance to connect with their community, spend time outdoors, build confidence and skills, and contribute to something that will have a lasting benefit for others.

A huge thank you to the team at Raise for welcoming us and providing such a positive and inclusive opportunity.

Signs of an overdose:
⚠️ Unresponsive or cannot be woken up
⚠️ Slow, shallow, or stopped breathing
⚠️ Blue or grey lips/fingertips
⚠️ Gurgling, choking, or snoring sounds

If in doubt, call 999. You won't get in trouble for trying to save someone's life.

As part of Open Houses 2026 – Open the Door to Recovery, we’ll be opening our doors and giving people the opportunity to see residential treatment and recovery in action.

Come along to meet our team and residents, look around Stanfield House, hear lived-experience stories and learn more about the support we provide.

It’s also a great opportunity to connect with colleagues and partners from across the sector and find out more about the role residential treatment can play in someone’s recovery journey.
