We’re delighted to share our new information leaflets across our services at Smithfield Detox, Stanfield House, and Leigh Bank Rehabs.

What makes these leaflets especially meaningful is that they were co-produced with the people we support. Their input, ideas, and lived experience helped shape the information so it’s clear, welcoming, and truly reflects what it’s like to access support within our services.

The leaflets provide helpful information about our detox and rehab programmes, what people can expect when they arrive, and how we support individuals throughout their recovery journey.

A big thank you to everyone who contributed to creating them — especially our residents and peer mentors who shared their perspectives to help make them as useful and accessible as possible.

Great to see our Clinical Lead Dr Abi, representing Turning Point and Smithfield Detox at the Royal College of General Practitioners Conference in Liverpool this week!

Abi was joined by Turning Point Clinical Leads and our Clinical Director, Dr Martyn Hull, for two inspiring days at Managing Addictions in Primary Care 2026 – celebrating 30 years of advancing addiction practice.

The conference brought together national leaders, researchers and frontline clinicians to explore the latest thinking in alcohol research, harm reduction, ketamine use, long-acting injectable treatments, safeguarding, and tackling stigma in primary care. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect, share learning and strengthen partnerships across the sector.

Dr Abi said:
“Events like this are vital for strengthening the bridge between primary care and specialist addiction services. The conversations in Liverpool were forward-thinking and practical, and I’m looking forward to bringing that learning back to support our teams and the people we support every day.”

💜 Graduation Days 💜

It’s been a very busy couple of weeks here at Leigh Bank as we have said farewell, well done and good luck to Lee, Ian, Lianne and Amy.

We are super proud of you all for completing your 12 week treatment and what you have achieved individually. It’s been an absolute pleasure seeing you all grow on your own recovery journeys but the compassion you have shown to each other when days, weeks, months have been challenging has been inspirational ❤️

We wish you all the best for the future and keep shining 🌟 as when you walked through our doors there where things you said you would never do, now on your recovery journeys your doing things you never believed you could do 😀 👊🏻
