A day by the sea was on the agenda for around 20 members of the Cultures Together Group, who headed to Llandudno and were lucky enough to enjoy plenty of sunshine! 🌊

Some enjoyed a walk along the sea front and visited the Victorian shopping arcades, whereas others took to the skies on the famous cable car. 🚠

National Hate Crime Awareness Week | 10–17 October 2026

Hate has no place in our communities.

Hate crime can leave people feeling unsafe, isolated and unheard. We all have a part to play in challenging prejudice, supporting those affected, and building communities where everyone feels safe, respected and welcome.

This National Hate Crime Awareness Week, we’re raising awareness of hate crime, sharing information about support available, and encouraging everyone to take a stand against hate.

💬 Pause. Check. Challenge. Don’t let prejudice, misinformation or hate go unchallenged.

If you experience hate crime, witness an incident, or are affected by what has happened to someone else, you can find information about reporting options and check whether the 24/7 Stop Hate Line is available in your area via our website.

Together, we can spread love, not hate. ❤️

We’ve seen an increase in fire alarm activations recently, so we’re reminding customers how important it is to use bin chutes safely.

Small everyday actions can make a big difference. Please remember to:

🗑️ Only put small, securely tied rubbish bags down the chute
✅ Make sure rubbish has fully entered the chute before closing the door
🚫 Never leave rubbish in corridors, stairwells or around bin areas
📦 Keep large items and cardboard boxes out of the chute
🔧 Report any blockages or damage as soon as possible

Blocked or damaged bin chutes can increase the risk of fire and smoke spreading through a building, so keeping them clear helps protect everyone.
