On Tuesday The Friends For Life Group and River Beal Café and Community Hub hosted at 'cook and eat'. We made quiches for everyone to take home for their tea. Everyone choose their own filling. We had a fun afternoon and the quiches looked scrumptious.

The Future Directions Inclusive Drama Group

Starting on the 13th May is our new Future Directions CIC Inclusive Drama Group.

If you fancy being on stage, this is the place to start with The Friends For Life Group's latest event. Our all abilities group is a great way to learn new things, meet friends old and new, and have a great time.

Our first session, on the 13th May is followed by another session on the 27th May, with more sessions every two weeks afterwards.

16/04/2026

If you are supported by Future Directions CIC or another health and social care provider, and live in Greater Manchester, All Hours All Voices is leading a campaign to start Companion Passes.

This means holders of a TfGM/Bee Network issued Concessionary pass (Concessionary or Concessionary Plus) could bring a support worker with their Companion Pass.

If Companion Passes go ahead, this means you can go to more places in Greater Manchester by bus for free.

It means you may see more friends or go to great The Friends For Life Group events by bus.

We would like you fill in the form, or get a support worker to help you. 🚌

🚌 HAVE YOUR SAY ON COMPANION PASSES 🚌

All Hours All Voices wants to see Companion Passes for Greater Manchester bus users.

If you have a Concessionary Pass, and supported by a health and social care provider like Future Directions CIC, your carer has to pay bus fare. This means you might go to fewer social events unless your carer has a car.

You might want to go to a new place but feel anxious about travelling on your own. You might need to leave at a different time to usual - like early mornings or late nights - and need to take your carer.

A Companion Pass could mean cheaper bus trips in Greater Manchester for you and your carer. Fewer taxis, more ways to do something new from Ashton-in-Makerfield to Milnrow and Wythenshawe.

If you live in Greater Manchester, all you need to do is fill in All Hours All Voices' form (see the link below). Your carer can help you to fill in your form.
