r highly talented women in the tech market, so they emerge the future of tech by their aspiration and exceptional skill-sets. To accomplish that, we work against the bias in the recruitment industry by educating employers about diversity and inclusion and expanding their knowledge to improve their processes at their workplaces. On the other hand, we upskill women in tech and improve their self-esteem to stand out at senior levels in the tech workplace.

🌸 Celebrating community, culture & connection 💜

Last week, we brought together Arab women and their families from across Greater Manchester for a special AspireHer family picnic. 🧺🌿

At AspireHer, we recognise that women come from diverse communities, cultures and backgrounds, and we want our activities to reflect and celebrate that diversity. We create spaces where women can connect with others who share aspects of their identity and experiences, while also building bridges across our wider community.

This picnic was a beautiful opportunity for Arab women to meet new people, share food and conversations, bring their families along and simply enjoy time together. 💕

Many of the women travelled from different parts of Greater Manchester to join us, and it was wonderful to see new connections and friendships forming.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and made the afternoon so special. We look forward to creating more community activities that celebrate different cultures, backgrounds and experiences. 🌷

We are shortlisted 🌍💛

We wanted to share something close to the core of our mission. We’ve been shortlisted to pitch AspireHer at a local event where the audience votes to decide which ideas get funded.

Our idea is about helping women feel more confident in understanding how tech connects to climate change and how they can be part of the solution.

It’s on 29 April in Bolton, and we’d genuinely love your support if you’re able to come.
