On the other hand, we upskill women in tech and improve their self-esteem to stand out at senior levels in the tech workplace.

Yesterday, women in Bolton came together for our Connect, Create & Grow : Learn & Share 💡 gathering with AspireHer.

We talked about our everyday use of technology.

What helps us.

What worries us.

How it affects our children and families.

And what it means for our planet. ☘️

There was no lecture. No “right” answer. No need to be a tech expert.

Just honest conversations, curiosity, coffee, cake and women listening to each other.🧁☕️

And that’s exactly what we hoped to create. 🌱💜

A space where women can ask questions, share experiences and learn from one another.

The future of technology needs young women in the room. 💜

Our Founder & CEO, Rana, recently joined senior leaders from EY and ServiceNow at the Technovation Roadshow at EY to discuss how AI is shaping the future of innovation.

Her message?

“Young people aren’t the future users of technology and AI. They are already users - and they are the real future shapers.”

We couldn’t agree more.

At AspireHer, we want young women to see themselves not only as users of technology, but as creators, innovators and leaders.

🌸 A new season. We’re with you.

September brings change.

For some, it is an exciting fresh start. For others, it can bring pressure, uncertainty, new responsibilities and the challenge of finding your balance again.

As families return to school and everyday routines begin to change, we want the women in our community to know something very simple:

You do not have to navigate it all alone. 💜

At AspireHer, we know that this time of year can mean much more than getting children ready for a new school year. It can mean managing family life, returning to work or learning, supporting those around you, finding your confidence again, and remembering to make space for yourself too.

Whatever this new season looks like for you, we’re here. 🌱

When women come together, something powerful happens. 💜

Recently, we brought women together for a social networking gathering, and the response spoke for itself.
More than 40 women signed up, joining us from Bolton and across Greater Manchester, bringing different experiences, ideas, ambitions and stories into one welcoming space.

There were conversations, ideas exchanged, new connections made, opportunities shared, and, perhaps most importantly, a strong sense that women are looking for spaces where they can simply come together, connect and be themselves.

This gathering reinforced something we strongly believe at AspireHer:
✨ We don't want to design programmes and expect women to fit into them.
We want to listen to women first, understand what they need, what they want to learn, what challenges they are facing and what they want to create, and then build programmes, initiatives and opportunities with them.
That means our community isn't just something women join.
It is something we build together.
This is just the beginning. 💜

At AspireHer, we are committed to continuing to create welcoming spaces, build meaningful connections and develop women-led programmes and initiatives shaped by the women themselves.
Because when women tell us what they need, we listen.
And when women come together, we build.

🌸 Celebrating community, culture & connection 💜

Last week, we brought together Arab women and their families from across Greater Manchester for a special AspireHer family picnic. 🧺🌿

At AspireHer, we recognise that women come from diverse communities, cultures and backgrounds, and we want our activities to reflect and celebrate that diversity. We create spaces where women can connect with others who share aspects of their identity and experiences, while also building bridges across our wider community.

This picnic was a beautiful opportunity for Arab women to meet new people, share food and conversations, bring their families along and simply enjoy time together. 💕

Many of the women travelled from different parts of Greater Manchester to join us, and it was wonderful to see new connections and friendships forming.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and made the afternoon so special. We look forward to creating more community activities that celebrate different cultures, backgrounds and experiences. 🌷

We are shortlisted 🌍💛

We wanted to share something close to the core of our mission. We’ve been shortlisted to pitch AspireHer at a local event where the audience votes to decide which ideas get funded.

Our idea is about helping women feel more confident in understanding how tech connects to climate change and how they can be part of the solution.

It’s on 29 April in Bolton, and we’d genuinely love your support if you’re able to come.
