An absolute pleasure to visit the Champions Community Sport & Health CIC in Leeds who we have been working with for the last few months, and meet the amazing Sam and Craig Gilmore. What an amazing project! Apart from free football coaching for local children and young people there is a community garden where the kids grow their own vegetables and the catering team then turn them into fantastic meals, a young leaders programme, there were kids out and about picking up litter from the park and even a programme where kids get free football boots. Absolutely the gold standard in community football. Forget all these foundations of big clubs - these guys are the real deal!!
