Statement of Support

The Pak UK Friendship Society stands firmly with Inspector Imran Sohi, an honest and dedicated officer who, during his posting as PSO to the DPO Gujrat, went above and beyond to assist overseas Pakistanis facing land disputes and other issues.

On several occasions, Inspector Imran Sohi extended his support and guidance to overseas Pakistanis without ever asking for a single penny in return. His professionalism, integrity and commitment to helping people are qualities that deserve recognition and appreciation.

We proudly acknowledge his services and stand in support of an officer who has demonstrated that public service is about honesty, compassion and helping others without personal gain.

President of the Pak–UK Friendship Society, Sajawal Khan, was contacted by several overseas Pakistanis regarding misinformation surrounding the new NICOP travel rules. Following these enquiries, he spoke directly with the Pakistani Embassy authorities in the United Kingdom, who confirmed the updated requirements for those travelling to Pakistan.

The updated rules apply only to travellers with an expired NICOP. Those holding a valid NICOP, a valid Pakistani passport, or a valid Pakistani visa can continue to travel to Pakistan as normal.

However, travellers with an expired NICOP will no longer be permitted to travel using only a NICOP renewal receipt.

Please help share this important information to prevent confusion and stop the spread of misinformation.

Safe travels to everyone visiting Pakistan 🇬🇧🇵🇰
