It’s astonishing to think that just a little over a year ago, we lost everything in a heartbreaking fire. Despite telling others that we would overcome this loss, I privately felt it was time to admit defeat.

However, a good friend and volunteer, Samuel Wallace, said to me, “Jamie, a phoenix rises from the ashes.”!

Fast forward 12 months and we have received -
A mayor’s award
Roatary’s community Star award 2026
Roch Valley Radio neighbourhood champion 2026.

But none of this is possible without the support of everyone of our amazing volunteers

The journey has begun and they have arrived safely in Bonny Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 the sun is also shining 🧡

They start the challenge first thing tomorrow with Ben Nevis, thanks again so far for all your donations they all are really appreciated 🥹

Sometimes, we may not fully understand the circumstances that lead to someone experiencing homelessness, so it's important to show kindness. This is Michael, whom I met over four years ago during a sleepout. He shared his journey into homelessness with me, and one of our dedicated volunteers has created this Al video to provide a visual perspective on a story l've recounted countless times. It still breaks my heart, and watching this video is even more painful.
