We are busy making preparations for Baby Loss Awareness Week in October 🩵🩷
In 2024 we provided 30 packs for parents attending a service with Preston Hospital.
This year we are making and donating 50 packs for other bereaved parents and families attending the service. They will contain a poem, keepsakes and other special items to help remember the babies who are no longer with us.

All these beautiful things we so kindly made and donated by the amazing Trish who helped me put the last lot of packs together. I am extremely grateful for her kindness, and skills to help make these possible! I was honestly blown away when I opened the parcel.

Over the last 3 years almost since starting this little fundraising idea of mine we’ve met so many incredible people. People with similar stories to ours, people who know families like us and people who just want to help because they are amazing 💛 and everyone in between 😊
Recently we “met” (online) Reggie’s mum and dad Reggies legacy-Remembering Reggie
They also lost their little boy and are wanting to do amazing things in his name, which I don’t doubt for a second they will achieve.

They have very kindly sent us all these beautiful hearts to help us raise funds and awareness whilst also continuing their own work. I am going to pop these on cards that were kindly donated by Elaine's Makes and voila we have the most gorgeous coloured pocket hugs and little keepsakes.

So grateful, please check out Reggies Legacy to see what they do and if you’re local to them they are holding a fun day this month and would really really appreciate the support.

We are here for the same reasons. To honour our beautiful baby boys and do good things in their names to help other families going through what we have.

We’ve been and re stocked our shelf at She Remainsbrave this morning.
It was half empty again which I am so so grateful for!
This week we have Winnie’s adorable turtles& crochet creatures, Always Oakley pens, bright and bold socks, Elaine’s makes handmade frogs and ducks ,handmade vintage bunting and a few extra little bits. I try and switch it up a bit each week 💛
Thank you to our amazing crafters and those who help me to be able to stock this wonderful space and raise money for maternity bereavement care.

If you’re local it’s really worth paying a visit. The atmosphere, the food and of course the local makers who’s items fill the shelves with all that colour and variety💛

10 beautiful baby cardigans handmade by Jane were sent off to a baby bank today 💛 The baby bank supports vulnerable parents and newborns and were really low on neutral and boys cardigans and jumpers. So glad we could help, thank you Jane for you wonderful creations ✨

Earlier this week one of Oakley’s little angels was found in a park where we had put her down for another family to find 💛
The lovely lady who found her has been taking her along for even more adventures and she’s even off on her holidays soon!

Morning, it’s Friday! 😁

As most of you know we have a shelf space at SRB where we have lots of pretty things for sale to help us raise funds.
The space is doing amazing 🤩 We have our two fab crafters, Winnie & Elaine who are working hard to keep us topped up but we could do with some more kind people on board to help us ✨
It could be a one off donation or regular items, any help is really appreciated 💛

The money we made last week from the shelf was used yesterday to buy the last items to fully stock our comfort cart ready for its drop off at Royal Oldham Hospital and this is going to need top ups when families have used it 🪽

I’ve been and grabbed some extra bits this morning for the Comfort Cart for Royal Oldham Hospitals neonatal bereavement room 🪽 ✨ I think it’s good to go now!
As well as the cart, I will be taking some baby bathing packs, hand and foot print kits and beautiful bedding for the CuddleCot when I deliver it all next Thursday 💛
