They are not perfect but they are hand made. Making them gave me time to reflect on their sacrifice and to think about the horrors of war.

Here are three of the Tommy's we've made at Malvern Shed .. They are in a two sizes 12" and 8" tall. If we sell any half the money raised will go to a forces charity.

We have 12 Tommy's mounted on oak plinths. They are available from the Malvern Shed £10 each half the proceeds will go to a forces charity the rest will help support our shed.

We've made a number of Tommy's ready for the 11/11/26 Remembrance day. This is Emlyn being encouraged to paint them. He's under the watchful eye of Chris and Martin. We're hoping to sell them to raise a little money for one of the forces charities. They'll be available from the Malvern Shed .

Malvern Shed leaders had first aid training today. For some it was the three year refresher for others their first course for over a decade.
We had fun and learnt lots about the latest thinking on first aid treatment.
The training will help leaders to keep our shed safe for all our shedders.
The training has also equipped us with the skills to help others in the wider community.

We're getting ready to move to Barnard's Green the Malvern Shed will be easier to access as there are no steps to climb. Please will you help raise awareness of our move by sharing our posts.

Recycled plastic planter now in place. The commissioners are well pleased. Working with Malvern green space.

We've been asked if you have to be male to come to the Malvern Shed . The answer is no, we are open to anyone over 18. We've a great mix of shedders several women or ladies. As long as you want some friends and to have a laugh you're welcome. We're here Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday mornings as well as Thursday afternoon . You can come along to any of those sessions and have a free taster session then if it's for you come to any of them for five pounds a session. We've most tools you'll need and will show you how to use them safely. If you've a project in mind or simply want to try your hand at anything come and try. We've lathes for wood turning, band saws chop saws and many other tools to complete your project. We've a few surplus tools that you can buy for a few pounds so that you can work at home.We've a good stock of pallet wood to practice with or to make bug houses, bird boxes and so on.
We're into recycling and repairing wooden things.
We drink a lot of tea, talk rubbish and laugh lots.

We've got this nice little dolls house about 500 by 600 by 300mm but I don't think people want them anymore. What do you think about making it into a cat's house? Leaving the front as is but cutting a cat size doorway in the back. The roof has been done in a bristles doormat ideal as a scratching mat.
