We should say a big thanks to the ladies who collected the money on the night and to all involved in making the collection. And to all that donated. THANKS.

Last Friday Malvern Link held its Winter Wonderland event and light switch on and traders in Malvern Link chose Men's Shed as its chosen cause to donate takings to this year.

Yesterday afternoon Lead Shedders' from Malvern Men's Shed Phil Sterry and Richard Potter were delighted to be presented with a cheque for £353.22, from Link Up Malvern traders Maggie (Manager at St Richards Hospice), Shay from Francis furniture store and Phil from Phil Ironside's Studio in Malvern Link.

We would like to say a very big thank you to them for their kind donation as it will go towards supporting the Men's Shed and the brilliant work they do there. Stages in the making of a reindeer. Select blank and mark up outline
Cut using bandsaw front view
Tape parts together
Rotate and cut side view
Sand vigorously to the desired surface finish.
Apply stain and decorate.
Box up. (Do they look familiar?)

One of our lead shedders has been very busy in recent weeks making his signature reindeer. Unfortunately he was rushed into hospital(he's going to be fine soon) the day before our first fair so was unable to get them there in time.
If you want one we've ten to sell at £10 each they'll be at the Community Action Malvern and District office in the link.. Money from the sales will help keep the shed going. Thanks. Ps don't forget to share the word. And don't be fooled by the name we are open to everyone not just grumpy old men.

We have some lovely items left from the last two days. They'll be on display and up for sale in Community Action Malvern and District window next to the post office in the link.

The items are mainly examples of what we or you can make in the shed.
Just need to price them all.

We had a very good time at the Vale community centre. A new venture for our shed. We sold lots and met lots of potential new shedders.. we've got a few items left if you're still shopping for Christmas. It'll be in the shed from Tuesday.

We're going to be at the fayre in the Malvern vale community centre Saturday 29 Nov
We'll have Christmas presents for you to buy and things to set the Christmas scene at home. Oak Christmas trees, wooden pens, table lamps, wall signs, and much more. If you haven't been to the vale yet here's a map. There will also be many Christmas items that have been donated for us to use to raise funds.
