ποΈπ IMPORTANT RESCUE UPDATE πποΈ
This is not a post we ever wanted to make, but sometimes life has a way of reminding us that family must come first.
As many of you know, Pipers Pigeon Rescue is a small, home-based rescue run by volunteers. My daughter helps run the rescue alongside me and recently had to undergo emergency appendix surgery while on holiday in Turkey.
Thankfully, the operation was successful and she will soon be returning home to continue her recovery.
Because of this, we have made the difficult decision to temporarily close to new intakes until 25th June. Once she is home, my priority needs to be helping her recover and making sure she has the care and support she needs.
Our current birds in care will continue to receive the same love, attention and care as always, and we will still do our best to answer messages and offer advice where possible, although responses may be a little slower than usual.
This wasn't an easy decision, but it's the right one for our family and for the birds who are already depending on us.
Thank you all for your understanding, patience, kindness and continued support. It means more than you'll ever know.
We look forward to reopening our doors to new admissions on 25th June.
Until then, please keep my daughter in your thoughts as she continues to heal, and thank you for being part of the Pipers family. πποΈ
