Welcome back to a new year at school everyone!!! I hope you all had a great summer!

Our first fundraising event this year is an inflatable afternoon, being held on Friday the 18th of September at the end of the school day.

Wristbands will be available to purchase and more info on this will follow soon.

All money raised will be going towards buying new equipment and resources for school.

As always we are looking for volunteers to help with this event. If you are available to help out at all even if it’s only for 30mins please do get in touch.

Our Summer Reading Challenge is off to a great start and we have had some finishers already! Last year All Saints Primary had the most completions and received their trophy in a special assembly.

Don't forget to add your sticker to your school sheet in the library when you collect your medal and certificate for reading 6 books this summer holiday.

This will be your last opportunity to grab any items you may need. The shed will reopen when we return in September.

Sports Day

Tomorrow the PTA will be selling refreshments while supporting our children on the field.
Below is a price list detailing how much everything on sale is.
Cash is preferred. Our card machine is very temperamental and likely will not work very well on the day. However if you don’t have cash on the day. Come find us at the stall and we can sort something out.

We will also be selling any last minute raffle tickets ahead of the draw tomorrow. These are usual price of 50p a ticket

Summer Raffle

As we had to cancel our summer fete due to the heat. We will be holding our raffle on sports day Wednesday the 1st of July.

I wanted to share ahead of time just some of the prizes up for grabs.
As always the business in Maldon have supported us by donating some fab prizes.

*****Can you help******

With the heat being something that is effecting us all. A few parents have made the suggestion that we could buy the school more fans to help the children and staff with this heat.

The staff have said that this would help them within the classrooms.

So with summer fete having been cancelled if you have any pennies spare that you were planning on spending this Friday. If you would like to send a donation towards buying fans instead to the PTA account with the reference “fan”.
Then the PTA will order more fans to be delivered to school to help with the heat.

Unfortunately due to the heat and weather warnings in place we have made the decision to cancel this Fridays summer fete.

Our plan moving forward will be to hold an inflatables afternoon in September as we have before.
The Raffle will go ahead as planned and we will draw this at the school sports day on the 1st. The PTA will be there with their usual stall of refreshments and raffle tickets can also be purchased at this time too.

Thank you to everyone who had volunteered to help with summer fete. Hopefully you’ll be able to help us with future events

The pre-loved uniform shed will be open this afternoon.
With the help of Stacey and Kirstie this week we’ve managed to get all donations out and on the rails.
Please take what you need but leave the hangers.
