Well done to the GBR 🇬🇧 Grand Veteran women’s epee team, captained by WFFC’s Karen, who achieved a brilliant 4th place at the European Team Championships today!

Well done to the Veteran women’s foil team who finished in 5th place and the Veteran men’s sabre team who finished 6th.

Good luck to the other GBR teams competing over the next few days. 🇬🇧🤺

British Youth Championships round up - well done to both Daniel, who placed 13th in the U16 boys foil, and Evan, who placed 8th in the U16 boys epee. An excellent performance from both boys.

Daniel and Evan were supported piste-side by coach Ken. Bruce, Dana and David were also in Sheffield refereeing and keeping everyone on track, as well as Lorraine on the British Fencing organising team.

This weekend is the British Youth Championships. Daniel and Evan will be competing in the U16 foil and epee respectively. 🤺

Bruce, David and Dana will be refereeing, Ken coaching our fencers and Lorraine supporting as part of the British Fencing Team.

Good luck everyone! 🤺

Peter the paramedic bear will also be there (pictured last weekend with Bruce on a break from refereeing at the National Championships) but hopefully his services will not be required.

This weekend Lucy will be competing in the British Senior Championships on Saturday in Sheffield, and Louisa is fencing in the GB Cup on Sunday. Good luck ladies!
