Hi everyone 👋 After making the difficult decision to close the Youth Club, we’re ready to start selling the resources from the Club (proceeds will go to a youth project in the village). Please let us know if you’d like any of the following:

⭐ NOTICE ⭐

Hi all. I hope you had a lovely Christmas period!

It’s with a heavy heart that I’ve come to the difficult decision to close BASE Youth Club.

I am unable to commit my time to the project in 2025, and have found myself increasingly stretched in recent months.

We’ve achieved so much and brought smiles to so many children in our time, it’s been so much fun!

A huge THANK YOU to my team ⭐ Craig, Lewis and Charlie ⭐ They’ve been a fabulous help, and I couldn’t have done it without them.

Thank you to all the parents and children who have supported us ❤️

Next steps … I plan to sell the resources and equipment we’ve compiled for the youth club project, and will put these funds towards a youth project in the village (with the help of the Parish Council)

Thank you again and I hope to see your little faces around the village in the future ❤️

Yes, that’s right! We’ll be finishing BASE (Youth Club) on a high this festive season with an AMAZING CHRISTMAS DISCO, hosted by a local DJ 🎉🎉🎉

Join us next Friday, 13th December for some festive fun at BASE!

Suitable for children aged 8+

It’s ELF TIME at BASE! This Friday 6th December we’ll be visited by some Elves 🧝‍♀️ to help us get into the Christmas spirit 🎄 It’ll be £10 to join this week (usually £6). Would you like to come along? Drop us a message below 👇 All the usual BASE activities will also be on, plus our tuck shop 🎉

Edit: as well as all the usual BASE activities we’ll have a 30 minute visit from our Elf, including games, sweets and an Elf certificate

BASE = a youth club for children in the Dengie and beyond. Suitable for children aged 8+

Where? St Lawrence Village Hall, Jubilee Field

When? 18:15 - 19:45

(Usually £6 to join each week)

We’ve been made aware that there is an AGM on Friday at the Village Hall, due to start at 7:30.

We’ll be starting BASE at 6:00 on Friday and finishing up slightly earlier, at 7:15.
